A T Best Handlers Ltd was founded in 1997 to specialise in the promotion, sales and servicing of Manitou products in the west of Scotland.

We are a family-run business which started in a small rented unit in Coatbridge moving to our own premises in Chapelhall in 2000. We outgrew this site and in 2009 we purchased a 4 acre site at Brownsburn Industrial Estate, Airdrie and we moved in June 2010. Our premises are in an excellent location with first class links to the M8/M77 Greenock / Glasgow / Edinburgh and Ayrshire motorway; M74 Glasgow / Carlisle; M73/M80 to Stirling/ Central Scotland. This gives us access to the majority of our customers in the west of Scotland within one hour.

Our relationship with Manitou UK goes back to 1972 when Manitous were first imported into the UK. At that point their range was only three rough terrain forklift trucks. Now the range consists of over 90 models including telescopic handlers with capacities ranging from 2 ton to 21 ton and lifting heights from 6 metres to a 30 metre 360°rotating telehandler ; rough terrain, industrial and semi-industrial forklifts from 1 ton to 10 ton. In addition to these lines we also have access platforms, warehousing equipment and truck mounted forklifts.
